Children's Museums
Even though everyone knows about them, we should probably still list these all-time favorite places to bring kids indoors in Rochester:
Rochester Museum & Science Center
Strong: The National Museum of Play
Recreation/Community Centers with Open Indoor Gym Times for Kids
- The Penfield Community Center has a "Little People's Gym" open gym time that is FREE, though for Penfield residents only. It is designed for babies through age four and is mostly held on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays (although it's only when school is in session, not on vacation weeks). They are special 1-2-hour periods in the middle of the day. Please call 585-340-8655 to verify.
